Our high school program is designed to provide each student with the essential elements of a college-prep education, along with opportunities to engage in the exploration of intense study within particular fields of interest. Through the following components, every Harmony student will attain skills and abilities that are necessary to be successful in college and beyond.

ABOUT COUNSELING

Professional School Counselors are available at Harmony Public Schools to provide a Comprehensive Developmental Guidance Program and services for all students in the areas of:

  • Guidance Curriculum – in an effort to help students develop competence in essential life skills

  • Responsive Services – provide intervention for immediate personal/social/emotional concerns

  • Individual Planning – provide guidance to help students plan, monitor and manage their personal, educational and career goals and facilitate transition activities for post-secondary education and/or training

HPS CC-Counseling multidimensional student support model builds the awareness and skillsets students need to be prepared for, accepted to, and successfully enroll in their best fit 4-year college or university. The College & Career Counseling team believes that students who are well-informed of skills and steps required for success and adequately guided towards achieving their postsecondary goals are more likely to succeed after high school.

By 2025;

80% of HPS students attain postsecondary completion (e.g. BA, AA, CTE) or are enlisted in the military.
